The Personal Preferences open with the Personal Folders tab selected. The Personal Folders tab allows you to change the storage location for your personal files on your PC or on the network. Most personal files are located in your My FaxPress folder.

If multiple users need to access a set of shared favorite documents or files, store those folders on a network drive accessible by those users and change the paths of the folders to point to the shared directories.

To specify a new location for a folder, click on the Browse button associated with a particular folder. Then browse to a new location in the list box and click OK. All new entries for that personal folder type will be written there. The original folder remains in its original location, and contains any data accumulated up to the time of the location change.

Spool Folder— This is the temporary storage directory that FaxPress Enterprise usages for spooling and retrieving faxes. The default location for these files is: C:\FaxPress.spl.

Saved Faxes— This is the directory where your saved faxes are stored. The location for these files is: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\My FaxPress\Saved Faxes.

Local Phone Books— This is the directory where your local phonebooks are stored. The default location for these files is: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\My FaxPress\Local PhoneBooks.

Favorite Messages— This is the directory where your favorite messages are stored. The default location for these files is: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\My FaxPress\Favorite Messages.

Favorite Documents— This is the directory where your favorite documents are stored. The default location for these files is: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\My FaxPress\Favorite Documents.

Cover Page Templates— This is the directory where the FaxPress Enterprise cover page templates are stored. The location for these files is: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\My FaxPress\Cover Page Templates.

HOST.IP folder – This folder holds files specifying IP addresses of Enterprise servers on different segments of the LAN.
